Is there more than one version of Debian 7.6.0 ?

Let me start off by saying this is my first real exposure to Debian. Not Linux or Unix, just Debian. I loaded it a while ago and I would like to install some additional software. It is asking me for :

Code:
Debian GNU/Linux 7.6.0 _Wheezy_ - Official i386 DVD Binary-1 20140712-13:02
I have a Red Hat machine that I plugged the DVD into and it comes back with i386 with July 12, but the time is 06:03. Was there more than one version of 7.6.0? Thanks.

You need to edit the file at /etc/apt/sources.list and remove (or comment out) any lines containing that DVD source.

Also, Debian Stable is up to 7.7 now so once you've removed those lines, you should probably update your system:
Code:
su -c 'apt-get update && apt-get upgrade'

Excellent Advice

Thank you I am working on it. I was only slightly familiar with sources.list, but as soon as you point that out, I was able to proceed. Thanks.
