Is there any preference option in the order of repos in debian sources.list?

I have been using debain 9.
my sources.list is
Quote:
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian-security stretch/updates main contrib non-free

deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ stretch-updates main contrib non-free

deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ stretch main contrib non-free
In an arch based distribution I used, the ordering of repository is important.
It decides which version of package is installed when same package is available in more than one repository.
In parabola gnu/linuux, the repos are 1.libre 2.core 3.extra 4.community 5.pcr
I have to put libre above all the repos in the config file.
Is there such a configuration applicable to debian?
If I put debian repo (stretch) above debian security, will the version of package from debian repo will be installed instead of the one in security repo?(during install/upgrade)
What is the default system design in case same pkg is available in two repos(debian,debian-security) with different versions ?

If the version in security repo is lower than the one in debian repo, which version will be installed during installation/upgrade?
