Is pamusb being dropped form Debian?

I have a USB stick that always seems to be a bit too small (8GB) for everyday use so I thought I'd use it for passwordless login to my laptop (and, possibly, desktop). I found a tutorial and was then stopped in my tracks as it appears that pamusb is being dropped form Debian -- there's a "transitional package" to move from pamusb-tools to pamusb-common for stable and the relevant pamusb-common package but, after that, nothing.
Does anyone know whether there has been a name change that's not filtered through yet, or whether pamusb is simply being dropped for some reason?

Luckily this is just something I'm toying with the idea of using but I'd be interested to know.

Seems it has not been maintained: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugr...cgi?bug=740842

Again, thanks for finding this.

You're welcome. I don't have much luck searching for specific bugs either.

I found that one by clicking on "Developer Information (PTS)" in the right panel here: https://packages.debian.org/stable/libpam-usb

Then clicking on "Removed 0.5.0-4 from unstable"

Brilliant! Thanks again. It's a shame it's been removed and I can't play but, on the plus side, I never noticed that and I use the Debian package search all the time so this will help me no end in future.
