Is LTSP an alternative to XDMCP

Hi,

I was trying to setup Remote Access (Just like Windows Remote Desktop) on my Debian server using XDMCP protocol. However I am running into issues.

Then I found the LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project). After reading the introduction page I wasn't quite sure if it can be used as a replacement for XDMCP method?

LTSP is for thin clients on a local network. XDMCP is very different.
