Is it a bug?

Hi All:

I am using the Debian 3.0r2 (kernel 2.4).

After installing the quota and open some user account.
Change the fstab properly

I found that the quota information of users cannot be update in real time.

However, when I change the quota info files from ->
aquota.user -> quota.user

it works very well.

So, is it normal or it is a bug?

Question Does the manual help?

No idea, but:
Does the manual say anything about it?
I mean % man quota

Good luck,
