Installing Xorg 6.8.1 in Sarge

Hi guys,
I heard that the new release of Xorg (6.8.1) has translucent windows and windows decorations like shadows.
But there isn't any official Xorg debian package :/
Is it possible that I install Xorg instead of Xfree?

If you feel lucky, http://incubator.vislab.usyd.edu.au/...Steve/20040909

Personally I'd wait for a Debian package... I wouldn't be surprised if it starts popping up after Sarge has become Stable.

thanks foor replay, it really helps
I also wonder,if I build X.org from source and remove all the packages releated to Xfree86, when I try to
Code:
apt-get install "something that requires x"
will I get a xfree86 dependency?

I tried Xorg 6.8.1 in slackware, it's really, really fast and stable, but the translucent windows and all that eyecandy stuff is still very experimental and heavy on system resources, I wouldnt recomend it yet its still too buggy and most window managers dont suport it well yet.
My suggestion is to wait a little more till the debian packages appea, theres no need to hurry
