installing mono fails

I'm trying to install mono but am getting an error:

mono: Depends: mono-common (= 1.2.5.1-2) but 1.2.6+dfsg-3 is to be installed
Depends: mono-jit (= 1.2.5.1-2) but 1.2.6+dfsg-3 is to be installed

I realize it's probably a bug, but is there a way to get it to install that last version that has met dependencies?

start by posting your /etc/apt/sources.list so we can see where (what branch) you are installing from.

I'm installing from Sid. In any case, it looks like they're getting rid on the mono meta-package in favor of mono-runtime so this really isn't a bug/problem after all.
