Installing KDE on Debian Unstable

Hi

I have installed Debian, edited /etc/apt/sources.list, replacing stable with unstable, run apt-get update and then apt-get dist-upgrade

Now I want to install the latest KDE, what do I do? Do I have to add any lines to above sources.list ? and which?

Thanks

remove previously installed kde. add following lines to /etc/apt/sources.list

# KDE 3.1.2
deb http://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.2/Debian stable main

now type tye following commands:

# apt-get update
# apt-get install libqt3
# apt-get install arts
# apt-get install kdebase kdelibs4 konqueror
# apt-get install kdeutils

it should download and install all required packages of kde-3.1.2

I have tried to install KDE on 'testing" and it just won't go. I have the kde stable repos and have done all of the apt commands and it will not install this one.....

apt-get install kdebase kdelibs4 konq. (yes I shortened it) :)

I get a bunch of depends that are not met. I just installed this debian today.

Anyone give me a hand?

Thanks ahead of time.
