Question Installing k3b

I've just installed ubuntu. I went to the synaptic package area and downloaded all the new packages. I really wanted k3b, so I proceeded to install it. However, iI keep getting this error:

dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/kdelibs-data_4%3a3.1-1_all.deb

trying to overwrite 'etc/xdg/menus/', which is also in package gnome-menus

and a similar message relating to kcontrol.

but I still get a k3bsetup 2 in my system tools but I think you have to run that from KDE?

Can someone tell me how I can install k3b in gnome or even how i can migrate to KDE and install it from there?

Thank you!

If you run:
dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/kdelibs-data_4%3a3.1-1_all.deb
It should fix things. You can then apt-get install k3b.
