Installing Intel NIC

Just installed debian 3.0... I'm using an Intel Pro/100 VM NIC. It did not install for some reason during install. The following came from a Windows log file:

Driver: e100bnt.sys
Driver Ver: 3.37.07.0000

I should be able to use modprobe to load driver right? What driver do I use? How can I find a list of available drivers?

Thanks...

Trick :-)

Download Knoppix, boot on the CD.
Then lsmod in a console, you should be able to see the driver that has been detected (eepro100.o ?)
Never undestood why "classic" debian does not provide the same hardware detection as knoppix ?

I think that the Pro100 driver is included with the 2.6 kernel. I had the same issue with a newer Intel net driver under 2.4. I ended up loading a Linksys pcmcia, downloaded the 2.6 kernel, recompiled and was off and running.
