Installing game Hedgewars 0.9.11-5 and doesn't start suggestion?

Hi i'm using Debian Squeeze and try to install this game ,i had installing from repos of Debian ,strange fact it is cause is starting ,but only show the main windows which say( in game...),i checked and everything seems to be ok ,my /home/use/.hedgewars is there with all ,i must say i installed everything from Debian sources (repo)so if you can tell me what is wrong ,will be very appreciated.Thank you.

P.S. I even tried from Terminal with --debug option to see if there some conflict ,there was no conflict.

I checked /home/user/.hedgewars and i'm seeing there and found in debug.text-"Could not create GL context" ; Console write: Could not create GL context, i think its not compatible with OpenGl and then i had trying "glxinfo | grep direct"-and response from terminal was "Error: glXCreateContext failed" do you think i need to update/reinstall my video driver Nvidia? Thank you.

You should be getting something like this:

Code:
ade@Pc1:~$ glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"
direct rendering: Yes
Looking at what you have posted i'm fairly sure the problem is graphic driver related.
What graphics card are you using?,and which driver?.
How did you install the nvidia driver?.

Hi ,regarding glxinfo I'm getting this:

Code:

slaughterdark@debian-slaughter:~$ glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"
Error: glXCreateContext failed

and yes i didn't do the install Debian-way ,i had do it nvidia-way

The graphic card i'm using is Geforce FX 5500 and the driver 173.14.20.

P.S. I had trying to install the driver Debian-way but it failed ,the problem was when i was doing module-assistant "m-a prepare" failed installing and finding linux-headers -my kernel version
Code:

slaughterdark@debian-slaughter:~$ uname -a
Linux debian-slaughter 2.6.30-1-686 #1 SMP Sat Aug 15 19:11:58 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

So i was needing linux-headers-2.6.30-1-686 and didn't find it and that's why it failed.

Thank you.I'm seeing you have Debian Testing "Squeeze" did you had problems with installing in Debian-way your driver from your graphic card?
Thank you.

Ok,you have got the right driver.
The linux headers should be available:

http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/l...s-2.6.30-1-686

What does cat /etc/apt/sources.list show?.
Have you also installed the build-essential package?.
If not, install it you will need gcc etc later.

As regards to installing the driver,i also use the nvidia installer rather than using the 'debian' method.
Let's get the kernel headers installed then we can go through the process of installing the driver.

Did you remove the Debian nvidia packages before running the downloaded Nvidia installer?.
