Installing debian over the internet

Hi,

First of all, sorry for this question, you probably answered it a dozen of times...

This is the situation. I started out renting a dedicated linux root server for some personal reasons. My experiance with linux was minimal (i'm "still" a microsoft geek). With all my stupid actions back then i totally messed up my debian distro, even apt-get wont work since some apt-get library files are missing... dont ask me how i managed that because i dont know myself.

Now i was thinking, i could try to get it all working again or i could just do a reinstall starting clean again.

I personally would love to be able to do the reinstallation, however i can only acces my server using SSH. I tried googling myself a way to install debian over the internet with no luck.

Can anyone help me by for example pointing me out to the right information source or tell me which steps to take.

Thanks in advance!

Clean install:

Debian can be installed over a fast internet connection, All you need to do is download the correct ISO file for your computer and know how to burn an ISO file to a CDROM disk. Boot from the disk and it's all automatic.
