Hi

I have checked the internet for possible drivers for Canon i250 printer (usb) and some googling led me to Canon's newzealand website where i could find some rpm files. I had converted the rpms to debs using alien and then installed them. And then added the printer as said in the guide.
But my printer doesn't print anything at all, and even doesn't show any activities when the i print something. But when i use it's gui i can do print it's head aligning and other maintaining services.
And I don't want to use turboprint (i want to use it the free way). Anyway, if anyone has succeeded to print with this printer under debian please let me know how.

thanks for your help.
I installed the gimp-print, everything still seems fine, but no activity on the printer side!
