Installing a program to control internet access
Hello
Currently having issues to access the internet wirelessly
Having a few issues as I am unsure what to do. Currently have lspci brings up that the card is : 02:02.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4322 802.11b/g/n (rev 01)
Have installed the drivers via sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer, which went through. All this done I do not know how to change the internet connection from wired to wireless. I think there should be a program but no idea what to look for.

Having no idea what you are running as far as version or DE but assuming you are using Debian, you should have a connection applet of some kind in the tray.
This should be network-manager, probably network-manager-gnome or wicd-gtk.
With wicd left clicking on the applet pulls up a dialog box for you to do the configuration. NM works in a similar manner.

Hello
Sorry its Debian 6 installed from a cd then updated. Then I installed LXDE, from the command prompt.
There in the bottom corner, is a cpu display, clock, lock screen icon and the shutdown button. There is the info panel on right click left, but nowhere for anything network related.
There should be a network icon on top of screen next to the clock, click on it & find your network.

Does LXDE not have an entry in the menu for the internet connection utility?
It has been a while since I used LXDE, so I do not remember the procedure for adding icons to the panel. Perhaps the icon needs to be added to the panel, either through the menu or by right-clicking on the task bar.

There wasn't one I could find, either by right clicking the bar, and none that I can work out in the menus.
