Installing a .deb file.


Can you tell me the command to install a .deb file. i have to do it manually as i have just installed Debian and i am setting up my modem, however before i can I need GCC and make. I have downloaded them through windows and mounted the windows drive to access them, how do i use them?

The command to install a .deb file is
