Install problems sarge on ALPHA

Hello,

Im trying to install sarge (full cd ) on my DEC ALPHA XL266 but i can't get the installer running. I installed debian-30r3 before from milo with the command:
boot scd0:/boot/linux initrd=/boot/root.bin -t iso9660 and that works fine, the installer pops up and i can install debian.

But on the sarge cd the boot map contains 3 different files:
- initrd.gz
- vmlinuz
- bootlx

so i thought i should use this command in milo:
boot scd0:/boot/vmlinuz initrd=/boot/initrd.gz -t iso9660

but this returns the errors:
VFS: cannot open root device "" or 08:02
please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic : VFS: unable to mount root fs on 08:02

Any idea what command i should use to run the installer on sarge?
