You could try here:

http://www.freshnet.org/wordpress/20...kage-for-etch/

Bare in mind this not an official repository, and could break your system.
You have been warned.....

Make sure you read all the comments on that page as well, so you can prepare for the necessary dependencies..

I tried already, but it won't work on my Etch due to libclamav3.
volatile repository doesn't help.

Why does the volatile repository not help ? do you have it configured properly in your sources.list ?

yep, my /etc/apt/sources.list:
Code:
deb http://ftp.ch.debian.org/debian/ etch main
deb-src http://ftp.ch.debian.org/debian/ etch main

deb ftp://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free

deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free

deb http://ftp2.de.debian.org/debian-volatile etch/volatile main contrib non-free
I'm getting this error:
Code:
# apt-get update
# apt-get install libclamav3

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libclamav3: Depends: libgmp3 but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

Is there any reason to stick to Etch rather than updating to the current stable version called Lenny? There is an havp package in the Lenny repos.
cheers,
jdk
