IMAP Email settings (Exim)
How do I find out what the settings of Exim are so that I could send/revieve email on a client program. Currently I am using SquirrelMail which is cool in it self, but I would also like to receive and send email from Outlook (or Thunderbird really).
Where can I find this information?
Mike

Have you tried (as root) "dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config"? This should allow you to tweak some basic Exim settings that are controlled by DebConf.

what information do you need to know? just enter the name of the server that exim is running on. of course this is assuming that exim is running ok, but that's not what you're apparently asking about.
remember that exim is only an smtp server, you can't "receive outlook mail" from it.... doesn't sense.

Basically, I know the thing works because I can send and recieve mail to it.
All I want to know is where do I find the server settings to plug into an email client.
Sorry, after rereading my post even I am having trouble understanding it.
