Iceweasel slow


My Iceweasel are slow. who knows any thing to put iceweaseal mor faster.

Maybe try using swiftfox ? it's nearly the same, but it's faster..
Yeah I know nearly makes a great difference ;-)

swiftfox is no faster. Iceweasel IS fast. If its not something is wrong with your system.

Try turning IpV6 off. Type about:config in Iceweasel's address bar and look for network.dns.disableIPv6 right click the value and change it to true.

Does this also speed up Firefox and other mozilla clones?

If the option is avalable in the about:config page then it would.

Iceweasel as far as I know with its differences is really just its name and logo / icons and maybe some slight tweaks with the .deb packaging. Its really just a fork of Firefox due to licensing issues with the name and logo of the firefox browser and Debian's stance on FOSS.
