IBM xSeries 235

Hello,

We've recently acquired an IBM xSeries server. I would like to know if Debian will be able to handle this Box without problem:

IBM xSeries 235 (8671-7Ax)

Intel Xeon 2.8 GHz
512 kb Level Cache
512 MB DDR ECC SDRAM
2x36.4GB Ultra 320 SCSI Hotwap
8MB SDRAM ATi Rage
On Board Ethernet Network 10/100/100

NBJayme :)

I don't think there should be any problems. Ok, you need to compile a new kernel and figure out which nic is inside, also you have to know which scsi controller is used. Then check if all that iss supported by the KERNEL, not the distro, 'cause hardware things are kernel things ... If the kernel supports it you can use any distro you like :)
