Huge, ugly font for gnome apps, how to change?

Hey guys,

I just installed debian woody on my laptop. The only thing that is really annoying me is this font, I don't know what it is, but it's ugly. It seems to be in all programs that use GTK... Firebird, gaim, my sawfish menu, etc etc... How can I change this?

Another small question, how do I disable GDM at startup?

Thanks fellas!

this might work:

Code:

sudo apt-get autoremove gdm3
will remove gdm3, if you really want to. and to change the font just open gnome tweak tool and all the settings should be right there!
