HP Laser Jet 4 Plus - W2 Invalid Pers

I have an HP Laser Jet 4 Plus, and though it worked fine on Debian Sarge, it is not working on Etch (Debian Testing) The error message that I keep getting is:
W2 Invalid Pers. I understand that this is due to a language problem, but I don't see any reason why that should be occurring. Anyone have any idea. I have all the cupsys drivers downloaded, and I am using the one that is specifically designed for my printer.
