I have tried to install postfix + dovecot etc. with SMTP AUTH numerous times now from upto 10 different howtos I've found on the net. However, I have not been successfull and I really need some help because this is annoying the shit out of me.
What I've been trying to install is postfix, dovecot with virtual users and domains. I'm at the point where I don't care what kind of package I use as long as it works. Issues I've encountered before is authoriziation problems, postfix starting and then shutting down everytime, server PHP settings screwed and the list goes on and on. It all fails in the end.
Now I've started all over again with a new install and ready to try again with your help my dear friends.
Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance.
