how to upgrade from sqeeze to wheezy?
i am using sqeeze now and i want to move to wheezy.I have googled it and find so many answers, but i added third party repos to my sources.list . I think that it may give problems at time of upgrade.I am pasting sources.list

deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.5 _Squeeze_ - Official i386 CD Binary-1 20120512-13:45]/ squeeze main

#security repos
deb squeeze/updates main
deb-src squeeze/updates main
deb squeeze/updates main contrib non-free
deb squeeze-backports iceweasel-release

deb squeeze-backports main
deb squeeze-backports main contrib non-free

deb squeeze main contrib non-free

deb squeeze main non-free

can any one please brief the upgrade process?

I'm of the mind that if you have to ask this question, you should not be considering upgrading to the testing branch...

Why exactly do you want to upgrade to testing?

i want to help debian,so i have subscribed to debian mailing lists.I had found a small bug which was not fixed yet,don know i can fix it or not,at least to test that buug i should have wheezy or sid installed on my HDD.:D

If you've found a bug in the stable system - check if it's already been reported and if so read the bug report, if not, report it. I don't see where upgrading to testing comes into it?

thanks for reply!
Actually the bug was reported for testing/unstable,so i wanted to upgrade squeeze.I got reply from mailing lists and doing upgrade,if i get any errors in upgrade i'll post them here......^^

So you don't have a problem with this bug on your system? You want to upgrade to testing just to try and fix this bug...?

Well if you're set on the idea:

Comment out/remove your existing sources and add the following:

deb testing main contrib non-free
Then kill the x server and

# apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
It may be a bumpy ride... time to brush up on your apg-get foo...
