How to repair Lilo on Macbook using rEFIt

So, I pulled a stupid and messed up my lilo bootloader. This usually isn't a big deal, I've done it before. The problem is I can't seem to figure out a way to fix it on my Macbook. I think rEFIt is the culprit. I'm having problems mounting the drive to repair lilo and I think thats because my partition table is not normal due to rEFIt. And thats not my only problem. I just so happen to have one of the Core 2 Macbooks that have a problem with key board not working on the boot screen of many cd's/dvd's that I was going to attempt to use to fix lilo. I then tried pulling the hard drive and putting it into my Toshiba hard drive so I could at least get into recue mode. However I still can't seem to mount the drive to repair lilo.

Does anybody have any solutions or work arounds for any of my problems?

Thanks in advance

Jared
