How to Install Debian 3 r2 woody current with reiserfs

Hey I am REALLY new to debian. I installed quite a while ago a really outdated version. I just got my hands on cds 1 and 2 of Debian 3 r2 woody.

I have been though and installed it once... just to see how it went.

What I want to know is how/if I can select reiserfs to use for the partition, or maby I have to format it before I do the install and then not let the installer touch it??

As it was I only had the option to use ext

Thanks for your time!

****Sorry it looks like I jumped the gun. This thead seems to tell me I missed an option in the installer.*****

If you use CD1 and and do a regular installation, you will end up with kernel 2.2 which only allows Ext2 file system.

You need to type at the prompt:

configure the network, download the kernel within the installation and follow the instructions from:

it will give you a choice of:

Ext 2
Ext 3
