how to install a current version of fluxbox?

I do not get along with the fluxbox version coming with debian stable, so I'd like to install the most current version (I have a fresh installation of debian).

Where do I find it?
Is it possible to accomplish this via apt-get?
Do I have to face unexpected librabry-conflicts?

Go to and check the different packages according to the versions and dist-upgrade to the version. e.g., the most current version of any package is usually in Sid or Sarge, so you would have to dist-upgrade to that version and THEN apt-get it.

build it from source.
