ifconfig
Code:
lo Link encap: Local Loopback
      inet addr: 127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU: 16436 Metric: 1
      RX packets: 80 errors: 0 dropped: 0 verruns: 0 frames: 0
      TX packets: 80 errors: 0 dropped: 0 verruns: 0 frames: 0
      collisions: 0 txqueuelen: 0
RX bytes: 5130(5.0KiB) TX bytes: 5130(5.0KiB)
I don't know why i can't use my floppy drive. It said that
Code:
mount: you must specify the filesystem type.
Please check that the disk is entered correctly.
my floppy was formatted. and i try it much time. how can i do?

As for your floppy : what did you use to mount your floppy ? It seems you did not specify the filesystem type while mounting it. The command should look like

mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy

The "-t vfat" tells mount that the FS type is VFAT.

another problem of floppy drive, I had followed the command like this, mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy. and i input the floppy then copy the text file into my floppy drive. It said that "Writing to devices is not supported." What's problem on it?
