Hi,
I am using Debian etch(kernel 2.6.15) and for quite a while I am using the small tux logo that appears on the top left side of the screen when we boot the kernwl with framebuffer(vga=791). I like it very much. Ofcourse I guess everyone likes that Tux logo...
Now, my question is very simple: If I want to replace that tux logo with my own logo, where do I have to put my own image file in the /usr/src/linux directory before re-compiling again. Also what is the format of that image file(extension, size limit, resolution, etc)
Also is there any way by which I can just re-compile the modulde which is responsible for displaying the image rather than re-compiling the entire kernel.
Thanks
