how to change default-system-wide hicolor-icon-theme?


anyone know how to do this via command-line?

I cant seem to get it to change

I'm in a chroot and need to know how-to via console?

On my systems i have a textfile in my home directory .gtkrc-2.0 which specifies icon theme.
And in this file it reads:

gtk-icon-theme-name="nuoveXT2"

So you could try creating/editing this file with a text editor of your choice,and see if it works.

I did that Trooper

but rox-filer still keeps using the default hicolor theme

pcmanfm and everything else also works

?

I even rebooted

its weird as rox seems to use the icon theme I choose
except folders are stiil the default hicolor-theme
