How Many Using Debian 64?

I am just wondering how many Debian users are using the 64 bit version on their system? I am going to do the install Saturday morning at a local Linux meeting and want to be sure that I wont have any issues and or problems.

I have never used a 64 bit OS & this is my 1st AMD 64 also. I just downloaded the debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso and burned it to disk.

Thanks for any detailed info on problems I should be aware of and or how smooth your experience has been. Keep in mind my level of Linux is very basic.

If you want to be sure that you won't have problems you should install it

Of course, read the docs first... Debian has almost anything you heart wishes... Long live Debian!!

Since you're counting, Mark me as one.

Biggest problem, no OpenOffice. Watch out for time running twice normal speed. ('noapictimer' kernel option takes care of that. Also, I have not yet gotten firglx working correctly, but I think that's because I haven't tried very hard. It is verrrrry fast. ... Also, I recommend 'sid', because you're working with a bleeding edge distro anyway.
