How do I single boot debian on macbook 5,2

So I've been looking at the Debian wiki to install it on a macbook, but the page does not give detailed information on how to do this!
http://wiki.debian.org/MacBook#Singl...BIBMDebianonly

Where can I find information on how to install a single boot of debian on a macbook!
Thanks
Chris

Not sure if you've been there but check out Mac Mini forum. There is a thread on alternative OSes and Macbooks. They have alot of the guys using linux with their Macs.
