I second this. Are you sure that the communication you received says what you think it says? Often phrases like "... will only support..." are used to mean just that -- only give support to not only allow. This is why, in my previous post, I was asking why they are locking out anything but Android (the on ARM is probably an exaggeration) -- it seems a very strange thing to do when the people who can't afford internet providers will be the ones who can't afford "smart phones" either and would rely upon old or second-hand computers. Mind you, perhaps India is just like the UK and common sense doesn't get used in these situations.

Yep, it does say so explicity even today, "Joispot Wifi will be available only on app from November"..and yet here i am using their Wifi from my laptop with no emulators or devices..btw, i tested their app on Remix OS in the Guest Mode, it's total crap and doesn't connect, and on my neighbours smartphone too. It's possible they ditched the idea because of users' complaints. I wasn't one of them, one who complained, that is, if so, heck, they are giving away wifi bandwidth for FREE! Who am i to look that gift horse in the mouth. :LOL
Shashlik didn't work for this despite all KDE bloat i installed and gave me a black window. No fault of Shashlik i am sure, Joispot's app was never meant to work on Linux.
