how can i connect to Internet using ADSL

i am using Debian 4.0.I want to connect to Internet through pppoe,dynamic
ip.what should i do?Should i set dhcp client first?

Use this:

And yes, I do believe you need to have dhcpcd running first, but I'm not sure. It's been a LONG time since I've connected directly to my ADSL modem with my Slackware box.
