hibernate and password problem

I finally got my computer to hibernate. It hibernates and thaws fine, but when I go to check my mail after a thaw I need to type in my password for the incoming and outgoing mail servers. Is this normal? Should I expect this? I'd like it so that the passwords are remembered, but if I cannot get that I'd like it so that I type in my 'regular user' password when the computer thaws and then that unlocks the two mail accounts.

What I'd really like is for it not to ask me for my password at all (in this case.) Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well.....what email program are you using? It may have a safety feature that kicked in when you hibernated so that it wants to verify that you are you coming back to the computer. Too many passwords? You can try a password manager.

On second thought, your computer must be quarantined. Pack it up ASAP and ship it. Hibernation tests necessary!
