Gyache error after update
 

I have update my Debian desktop and after update gyache is giving the following error "LOGIN FAILED"
I use debian lenny and Gyache 1.10
I have a friend who uses Ubuntu and have the same problem after update

please advice

so you are running gyache 1.1.0 ?

The current version is 1.1.71 so it looks like you are about 25 versions or so behind.

maybe if you download the source for the latest version and compile it...

as for your friend on Ubuntu I see there is a repository he can use to install gyache via the package manager for Jaunty jackalope..

Just a small point here. For the sake of clarity, be sure to use the correct program name. The original gyache has been stuck at version 1.08 for a couple of years now, so you must be talking about the newer gyachi fork.

The gyachi homepage has pre-built Ubuntu .deb packages available. And since Ubuntu is based on Debian sid, I recently tried installing it on my Debian machine and it seems to run fine (though I haven't given it a full testing yet).

I thought the old one was gyach and the new one was gyache after looking at the page again I see the I at the end..

i've updated my gyachi ...now is working
