gtk-qt-engine
Hello, all
I had installed kde-3.5.1 recently through compilation of source code. As I dislike the gtk-style appearance of gtk apps, I, the same, compile and install gtk-qt-engine. It doesn't change the gtk apps style at all, but, however, it did work for my mandriva box. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
You have to change your ~/.gtkrc* to use the new engine.

Sorry, I don't know what you exactly mean. Might you say it in more details? Thanks.

You can change theme of gtk2 apps in Kcontrol under Appereance & themes.
|
In my home dir the file is
.gtkrc-1.2-gnome2 You can add include "/home/user/.themes/qt-gtk/gtk/gtkrc" Of course the above path needs to point to the actual gtkrc file If you installed it from a deb, it is probably in /usr/share/themes, otherwise look in ~/.themes |
OK, I'll try it.
