Grub Splash Images on a Logical Volume

Is there anyone out there who might have a clue as to how to get grub-splashimages to work with a logical volume? I tried the normal method (splashimages=(hd1,0)...), but when I reboot, GRUB reports that it cannot locate the image. I am running Debian on a secondary hard drive on a logical volume. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ciao.

Perhaps something like this would work better?
Quote:
splashimage=(hd0,4)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz
Perhaps that's how you already did it, but I'm not sure "splashimages" will work in place of "splashimage"
Could be wrong because I don't have much experience with it. I know mine works though.
