Good picture program for Debian Etch?
Hi,
Im looking for a nice program to handle my digital pictures. Im used to acdsee which is very easy to use, and holds a load of functions for editing the pictures.
I could use a program that contains:
Good browsing features like tumbnails.
Which is able to remove 'red eyes' from the photos.
Resizing.
I have allready seen alot of different programs for Debian (in synaptic), but I don't want to go testing alot of different tools, I just want some of your recommendations in case you have any?
Sincerely, Jorgen

re: digital pictures
For KDE, I really enjoy Gwenview. Make sure to install kipi-plugins with that for tons of extra functionality.

Another one worth a look is "digikam" not only can you use it to import you pictures from the camera, but also edit them.
Code:
$ apt-cache search digikam
digikam - digital photo management application for KDE
digikamimageplugins - image editor plugins for digikam and showfoto
kipi-plugins - image manipulation/handling plugins for KIPI aware programs
digikam-doc - handbook for digikam and showfoto in several languages
