Gnopernicus??

Does any one know much about the "Gnopernicus" software which comes with GNOME?
Applications>Accessibility>Screen Reader and Magnifier

I dont know how to make the "Screen reader" option work?

I am using Debain Sarge 3.1. I have gone thru the help section in Gnopernicus but it is not much clear.

The audio system works fine on my pc but not the Screen Reader.

A google search led to this page , which states, Warning: Gnopernicus is still experimental; there is no official release yet. This package is provided as a convenience for interested Debian users to try out Gnopernicus.
