Gnome starts session with an openoffice blank page.

As said in the title, my session starts (gnome) opening an openoffice blank page. How can I modify that?

Thanks in advance,
Glore2002.-

Hi there,

A workaround can be, closing all aplications, (or leaving the ones you want to start auto with gnome), and run from the console:

gnome-session-save

This will create a snapshot of your running apps.

I would try this:

After your session starts, close all windows including the OpenOffice window, then go to "System -> Preferences -> Startup Applications". Now go to the "Options" tab and make sure that the checkbox labled "Automatically remember running applications when logging out" is UNCHECKED. Then click the button "Remember currently running application" once. Close the small "Startup Applications" dialog.

Now log out and log in and see if the changes worked.

And if you have got an entry in the hidden file

'.config/autostart/'

you can just delete the entry.
