gnome-background-properties crash
 
I have installed Gnome 2.8 in my Knoppix 3.8. The application gnome-background-properties starts but crashes immediatlly. Any suggestion?

run it from a terminal window and u'll see the output

Thank alot. I found the problem. I had a broken XFree86 server so I reinstalled everythung and it working fine now, I think.
