After recovering from hard drive failure and having to painfully rebuild my box from scratch, I've decided to look at backing up my data.

I found a couple of programs on freshmeat that are linux equivalents of Ghost.

Have any of you used the programs below or something that you would recommend for ghost imaging?

I have had great success using Partition Image that is part of the SystemRescueCD;

It's much better to get the CD image which has lots of additional tools for system recovery.backup, cloning and etc., never leave home without it

Thanks for the post. It looks like a great product. I just burned the .iso and will test it out.
