Getting xwindows to run (sarge)
I have now downloaded and installed Sarge for the third time, this time from Debian.org. Still, I can't run xwindows. During all three downloads I noticed files which didn't download because they timed out. I've run apt-get update and apt-get upgrade several times.
After this download I ran base-config and found the DESKTOP asterisk was no longer checked, and MAIL SERVER was, both wrong. I changed the asterisks, downloaded for another 6 hours and still can't run xwindows (using 'startx').
What do I do now?
