Getting 504 [Errno -2] Name or service not known when doing apt-download
I am attempting to download my packages for a system that is offline.
I generated the signature file from that system, moved it to a system that has internet connectivity. Used "apt-offline get deb-upgrade.sig --bundle deb-upgrade.zip --threads 2" I am getting this type of message on everything it tries to download: ERROR: http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian/dis...pdates/Release - 504 - [Errno -2] Name or service not known. ERROR: Will still try with other package uris I know this system has connectivity to the internet because I just updated it. The zip file is generated with nothing in it. |
can the online system connect to http://mirrors.kernel.org ?
