Is possible to fsck the whole partitions that exists ?
I have JFS, FAT32, and EXT4.

with a live cdrom:
Somethnig like
Code:
fdisk -l | grep /dev| while read i ; do fsck -fvy $i ; done ; reboot
something like that (with a sed), will fsck check if it is a JFS or whatever, adapt, and clean the problems automatically.

But why :
without live cd:
Code:
cd /root ; touch /forcefsck
is not sufficient?
what is it going on actually? before it was never doing that under sarge or etch.
