Forward is not working


Hi,
I tried to use one machine with two card, as gateway, I activate the ip_forward, ( echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward ), but it didn't work.
no replying packet when I ping from a machine to another via my GW,

Something else is needed ??

Yes, you don't mention whether or not there are firewalls
on any of the hosts or any of the networks.

Also you will need to verify the network settings of all
three hosts. I'd suggest making sure you can ping the
gateway from each of the other hosts. Then make sure the
gateway can ping each of the others. Next make sure that
each of the computers have a route configured using the
gateway host.
