Fonts not rendering properly.
 

Hello, I recently installed all of the packages under "Required Packages" for installing Beryl as listed on this wiki.

The day after installing these packages (I'm not sure whether one of these is the cause of the problem, but it's all I changed) fonts stopped rendering properly in X. For example, usually text will not display until I select it and sometimes it wont display at all.

I have this same problem, usually in mozilla based browsers, firefox and epiphany. Also on the desktop in xfce. I fixed the gnome desktop fonts by selecting "desktop/preferences/font" and selecting a different font. (I don't use kde) Haven't been able to fix the browser fonts yet. Very annoying.

Updating my graphics drivers fixed the problem.

Q: Which "graphics drivers" did you update?
