fonts in debian and xfs

I'm using x font server in debian sarge, but the fonts that I installed are not available in gnome or kde. I'm running xfs on unix/:7100 and when I execute xlsfonts, the fonts that I installed appear, but in the kde control center or gnome they do not appear.

Any suggestions?

may be you should link the font directory where they are installed to your ~/.fonts. if they are true type they will work, but in other case I don't know

Add the directory /usr/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType in the catalogue parameter then /etc/init.d/xfs reload

Also in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 you must have:

Section "Files"
FontPath"unix:/7100"# xfs port

chech this up:
