fontconfig and fonts

I put in /usr/share/fonts all the misc and Type1 fonts, gunzipped them, and ran fc-cache to update fontconfig. It caches all the directories with the fonts, but when I do fc-list it will show only the bitstream and urw fonts. Where is the fixed and console fonts?
